The work is divided into 7 parts:
1. Research and photography of patterns found in everyday life
2. Cataloguing and subdivision of patterns (square, linear, dotted, mixed, etc.)
3. Elaboration of legend
4. Elaboration of digital collages conceived for printing images in 80x30 cm format
5. Printing with Epson plotter on 180g Perla Matt photography paper
6. Adjustments for pattern-prints proper overlapping
7. Laser Cutting the prints
The collection is designed to allow for movement among its constituent elements. The images should function individually as well as when combined or overlapped. The extracted patterns should also work independently for analysis purposes and should be able to be superimposed onto corresponding images.
The amalgamation of these elements creates a dynamic interplay of shapes, textures and colors, captivating the viewer's attention and inviting them to explore the intricate relationships within the composition. The juxtaposition of disparate elements fosters a sense of visual richness and complexity, stimulating curiosity and prompting deeper contemplation of the interconnectedness of our visual environment.
